Overview

Kandy was the last royal capital of the ancient king’s era of Sri Lanka until the British took control the entire country from 1815 and now, it’s become the UNESCO World heritage site and the second largest city of the country and the capital of the central province of modern Sri Lanka and it is situated at an elevation of 490 meters above sea level.

This beautiful city is home to Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha since the king’s time and it’s placed in the old royal palace of last king and now it’s called as Temple of sacred Tooth Relic and this temple became the most visited tourist destination in the entire island and Kandyan kingdom has their own tradition and the cultural growth, and still in Kandy you can see many of their Kandyan stylist art like Kandyan Cultural Dance, Gems and Jewellery, Painting style, Wood carving style and etc.

Day 01 Arrive to Kandyan Kingdom
  • On arrival you will be met and welcomed by our representative and transferred to last Kingdom of Sri Lanka known as
  • En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where house to the abandoned and wounded elephant including baby elephants brought from various parts of the island and in one place you can see lot of elephant enjoying the river bathing.
Day 02 Kandy City Tour
  • The Tooth Relic Temple of Lord Buddha become a UNESCO protected world heritage site and most visited tourist destination of the island.
  • The Natural Gems and Gemological Museum exhibits rare Gems in the world which are found only in Sri Lanka because Sri Lanka was affectionately known as ”Ratna Deepa” which mean Island of Gem and most famous for Blue Sapphire and other Corundum family Sapphires and Chrysoberyl, Spinel, Topaz, Zircon and etc
  • Royal Botanical Gardens – Peradeniya Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the King of kandy and latter British enhanced as their royal garden (1822). The garden includes more than 4000 species of plant including Orchids, Spices, Medical plant and Palm trees.
  • The Kandyan Dance is the famous dancing style of the island and don’t miss to enjoy their traditional and unique Cultural Dance Program.

Day 03 Nuwaraeliya City... The Cloud Forest
  • Nuwaraeliya often referred as “Little England”, it is one of the major tea producing areas in the world and on the way to this amazing hill country, you can explore the Tea plantations and the process of making world best tea known as Ceylon Tea.
  • Sita Amman Temple located just few kilometers away from the Nuwaraeliya city and the area called Sitaeliya (Ashok Vatika). It is known as one and only temple that dedicated to Princess Sita. The foot print of Lord Hanuman’s can be seen even today close to the Sita Amman temple.
Day 04 Relax on the Benthota Beach
  • If you love to walk on the long scenic beach and you should probably select the coastal town of Benthota and on the way visit Ramboda Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and Beautiful Ramboda Waterfall.
  • Spice Garden will give you an experience why people from all over the world preferred Sri Lankan Spices and Herbs.
Day 05 Explore Madu River, Sea Turtles and Benthota Water Sports Activities
  • Visit Madu River (Madu Ganga) and their boat ride will make you a special and remarkable experience and its estuary and the many mangrove islets on it constitute a complex coastal wetland ecosystem. It has a high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance being home to approximately 303 species of plant belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of vertebrate animals including crocodile.
  • Sea turtles are fascinating creatures that have been living in our oceans for millions of years and Sri Lanka is home to five out of seven known species of sea turtles in the world including the Green turtle, Olive Ridley turtle, Hawksbill turtle, Logger head turtle and Leatherback turtle.
  • Water sports activities will boost your aquatic adrenalin with Jet Ski, Banana ride, Sofa Ride, Snorkeling, wind surfing and many more activities and Benthota, a place to chill and thrill where there is no end of fun with lot of excitement.
Day 06 Capital Colombo
  • Historically a simple trading port, today the city of Colombo is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city that serves as the commercial capital of the Island. In Colombo, immerse yourself in the colorful, busy streets, take in the beautiful sunset along the western coast or enjoy the delightful cosine of the island at one of many traditional or modern restaurants, bars or cafes located in the city.
  • For a memorable night of exciting gaming and entertainment Colombo is the only place for most luxurious Casino in Sri Lanka.
Day 07 End Tour
